Terms and Conditions
The following conditions apply to participation in International Bartender Academy training:
- You must have had your 18th birthday before the start of the course.
- The online application form is completed in full and submitted to barcourse.net.
- The total cost of the course is £990. What is included is stated under point 10. (These payments are paid into a euro denominated account.)
- The application fee (£100) must be paid within 10 days of submitting your booking to confirm your place on the course. Thereafter you must pay £400 1 month before your chosen booking date. When the money is paid you will receive a receipt which is your proof of purchase.
- The other instalment (£490) is paid when you arrive in Mallorca and check in to the hotel apartment.
- If you do not meet the payment requirements of point 5 you will unconditionally lose the right to accommodation in the apartments and to participate in the course. You will then need to find and pay for your own accommodation and any other costs that may occur. In addition no previous payments will be repaid.
- Flight arrangements made by barcourse.net, apply according to the conditions of the flight operator. Any changes in these flight arrangements made by you are your own responsibility and you will be held responsible for any costs without any rights to refund by barcourse.net.
- barcourse.net retains the right to make any necessary modifications to, or cancellation of, the bartender training course. If this occurs, barcourse.net must try to offer an alternative course date or repay whatever you have already paid. If barcourse.net is forced to make changes as described in the previous paragraph you will be informed as soon as possible and 8 days before date of departure at the latest. No further claims can be made.
- You will receive your air tickets no later than 7 days before date of departure.
- barcourse.net bartender training includes:
- Two weeks intensive training, including theoretical and practical work.
- Return flights from U.K. airports to Palma Mallorca.
- Transfer to and from the airport in Mallorca.
- A Shared apartment with other course participants.
- Specially arranged study visits.
- All required course material.
- Welcome and Graduation dinners.
- The barcourse.net diploma and certificate after completion of the course.
- An employment interview.
- barcourse.net bartender training does not include:
- Food or drink.
- Transport or costs in connection with travel to or from the airport of departure.
- Insurance or other types of arrangement for medical care;
- (barcourse.net recommends that you arrange insurance cover for the outward and return journeys and the two weeks duration of the course.)
- Insurance has to be arranged before departure to Mallorca.
- Bring your proof of insurance and E 111 form, which can be obtained from any U.K Post Office
- Anything that is not included in point number 10.
- You are responsible for following the regulations of the company and airline that you are travelling with.
- If you miss your outward or return flight you are solely responsible for any costs that may occur. No repayment from barcourse.net can be expected.
- Repayment will only occur if you cannot participate in the course for health reasons, barcourse.net must be informed immediately. The only repayment situation is when you yourself are sick, and an original doctor note must be provided to us. Money you have paid can be repaid as follows. In event of cancellation more than 30 days before outward departure, the pupil must pay 40 % of the total price of the course. In event of cancellation less than 29 days, but more than 14 days before outward departure the pupil must pay 50 % of the total price of the course. In event of cancellation less than 13 days, but more than 24 hours before outward departure, the pupil must pay 60 % of the total price of the course. In the event of cancellation less than 24 hours before outward departure, the pupil must pay the total price of the course.
- For each participant information it must be stated that barcourse.net, international bartender academy, is part of Aquarium Magalluf SL and is represented by that company.
- As detailed in point 10 above, after completion of the course participants will receive a diploma, certificate and be offered an employment interview. We reserve the right suspend any pupil found to be under the influence of alcohol during a lesson. If a participant is warned a number of times for the same reason there is a risk that the participant will not be permitted to continue the course, without the right to any claims for repayment.
